In November of 1959, a fishing village and some summer homes on Florida’s Anastasia Island were officially incorporated and named the City of St. Augustine Beach. This year, the city’s 50th Birthday will be celebrated with a series of fun and exciting events that highlight the history and small town atmosphere of this community snuggled up to the Atlantic Ocean. For the 6,000 people who call St. Augustine Beach “home” and for the other 15,000 who show up throughout the year to create their own lasting vacation memories, St. Augustine Beach is a beloved place on the Florida shore – a place whose 50th birthday is a time for celebration! We hope you will join us for the party – we’re sure you’ll have a great time!
