Welcome to one of the most celebrated and beautiful festivals in the nation — the 2009 Florida’s Birding & FotoFest. To say that this year we’re truly spreading our wings would indeed be an understatement.

This 2009 festival features more new world-renowned photographers, more new rare birding opportunities, and more new field locations than any previous event. New photographer instructors include Kathy Adams Clark, Roy Toft, and a very special keynote presentation by Florida Photography Pioneer, John Moran. New birding events include a day-long session on bird migration which explores the unique patterns and personalities of raptors and warblers. And finally, new immersive field environments include Ravine Gardens and Dunns Creek State Parks, Vaill Point Park, and Alpine Groves Park.

Equally as impressive is the confirmed return of perhaps the greatest collection of upper echelon international nature and wildlife photographers in the world — a collection which continues to solidify Florida’s Birding & FotoFest as one of the premier and prized events in all of North America.

And of course the community of Greater St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, & The Beaches is welcoming bird lovers and photography aficionados with all the gracious, friendly hospitality one would expect from the Nation’s oldest city and Florida’s most world-class destination. So without further ado, we welcome you to this 2009 Birding & FotoFest—an event which glorifies the love we have for birds, nature, and Florida’s unique offering of the great outdoors. It will be yet another auspicious St. Augustine event which is destined to go down in History.
